Aims & Objects

To Guide, help and assist members of the Indian Community in New Zealand, to secure, protect and safeguard their economic and political rights in various fields.

To protect a correct image of India, Indian civilization and culture and to help members of the Indian Community to understand and assimilate Danish history, culture and civilization.

To provide a suitable forum for the projection and presentation of the common problems and viewpoints of the Indian community both to the Governments of New Zealand and India through appropriate means and channels.

To secure and establish appropriate contacts, relations and alliances with political parties.

To help the N.R.I.s who become the victim of mall practices like unlawful property encroachments and to resolve such issues through legal means or negotiations.

To secure, protect and safeguard, all rights, privileges and facilities for Indians and person of Indian origin settled in New Zealand, through peaceful and constitutional means.

To promote, encourage and undertake all actions, plans and programmes required for their general welfare-economic, social and cultural.

Since the infrastructure of I.O.C, New Zealand is based on the principles of Non-violence and secularism, all the activities of the Party should be conducted while keeping these principles in view.

Action on the part of any member of the Party must not be directed against the interest of our country (India) and the host country (New Zealand).
